It is with deep sorrow that Mercedes ISD shares the heartbreaking news of the passing of Mr. Ernest Treviño, a dedicated educator and cherished member of the Mercedes Early College Academy team. Dear Mercedes Families, Due to severe weather and flooding in the Mid Valley area, Mercedes ISD has canceled classes for Friday, March 28, 2025. MISD staff is also assessing facilities for any damages or flooding from the inclement weather, and repairs will be made accordingly.
